This was taken on my last night with my sweet Abbie. She wasn’t much of a snuggler but this night she laid with her head on my lap and let me love on her.
I truly believe it was her way of saying it’s ok mom, you’re doing what’s best for me.
I miss her terribly and the house is so quiet. Although I swear I sometimes hear her coming down the hall.
I was blessed to have her for the last fourteen years. She came to work with me and was loved by all.
Ohhhh Abbie. My heart hurts knowing heaven got such a beautiful angel dog. You had a long life but it’s never long enough for us people. I know that during your short time, you sure left a big pawprint on people’s hearts, including ours.
